Our family ranch is nestled in the Loess Hills of Western Iowa and that is the inspiration behind the name Sharp Bluff Beef. When I was in college I developed a passion for soil health and the power of cattle in conserving and improving the health of the ground our food is raised on. Which means a healthier more nutritious meal for your family!

1/4 Beef Share Deposit – Sharp Bluff Ranch

$120.00

Secure your 1/4 beef share with a $120 deposit and enjoy a freezer full of high-quality, farm-raised beef from Sharp Bluff Ranch.

Each 1/4 share yields approximately 130–150 lbs of take-home beef, dry-aged for 14–21 days for improved tenderness and flavor. After aging, your beef is cut to your preference, then frozen to preserve quality for up to two years—perfect for families who value convenience, flavor, and knowing where their food comes from.

You’ll work with the locker to customize your cut sheet, we would be more than happy to talk to you through all the possibilities of a custom cut sheet, or choose a standard option if you prefer. Expect a well-balanced variety of steaks, roasts, and ground beef—ideal for everything from quick weeknight meals to slow-cooked comfort food.

  • Deposit: $120 (applied to final total)

  • Final Price: $4.00/Lb × hanging weight (average 210–235 lbs), minus deposit

  • Processing: State-inspected facility; processing fees paid directly to the locker
    (base fee $1.16/Lb, varies by cut choices)

  • Feeding: Grass-fed, grass & whole-grain finished

  • Pickup Window: Estimated January 21–28

  • Pickup: Cherokee Locker or a coordinated delivery/pickup option after purchase

  • Freezer Space Needed: Approximately 5-7 cubic feet for a full 1/4 beef
